Wanted: A Mint Green Wardrobe

What's the colour of this summer, is it mint green, yellow, orange, coral? My favourites are coral and mint green. All the items pictured above are less then €100. I especially love mint green because the colour of your skin looks very beautifull when you wear it. It almost looks like you have lain in the sun for three weeks.. maybe that's the reason why I love it because it looks fresh and sunny.

I adore the sequin top, it would look great with a sandcoloured feather skirt <3

What's your favourite colour of this summer?

Guess celebrates '30 sexy years' tomorrow!

Tomorrow Guess is celebrating their '30 sexy years anniversary'. You probably all know this brand and they invited all the customers to come celebrate this in one of their stores! You will get a great discount and there will be give-aways too. I know I'll be there because I love this brand. Especially the style of clothes they designed for this year 'the capsule collection', it's very fifties which I like a lot.

If you are not able to come to one of their stores between 15:30h and 16:00h during the '30 years in 30 minutes' you can also celebrate online! Are you coming too tomorrow?
I'll show you my pictures soon <3

Outfit Diez University Party

It's my university's birthday today so therefore they are throwing a party on the campus. Tim Knoll is going to perform so I'm going to take a look. A party is a good reason for me to create a new outfit and because it's almost 30 degrees today I decided to wear not too much. Sometimes I find it difficult not to cross the line of trashy when it's hot. But with this outfit I think I'm safe <3

Armcandy

Finally summer!!

Finally time to wear all my summer outfits which are stored for like a hundred years in my closed. Seriously, I think 70% of my clothes are summer clothing so I'm definitely living in the wrong country..

But no time to complain because the good weather has arrived and I'm enjoying it by putting on my unworn clothes and my new jewelry. I will show you my outfit tomorrow! Normally I think 'less is more' when it comes to jewelry, I almost never wear earrings or necklaces other than my standard small gold necklace and bracelet. But this summer I'm starting to like all those coloured jewelry, so today I wore my combination of nearly all my accessories:

> All my colourful H&M bracelets,
> Har bracelet to support War Child, from SOHO
> Red bracelet I bought at Watch to support the Red Cross (Rode kruis)
> Feather ring from Six

I LOVE ITALY

These are some random pictures I took in Italy. I didn't have a good camera back then but I hope you'll get a good impression. Since I was a child I went almost every year to Italy and my dream is to live there some day. But next year this dream may come true because I'm looking for an internship in Italy!! I can go where ever I want so this is a great opportunity for me to learn about my favorite country. Do you have any tips for an internship?

The first picture is my Vespa! I've been saving about all my live for a vespa 50 special so when I turned sixteen I bought one in Italy and we took it back to the Netherlands and dyed it mint green. My next project is a Fiat 500, the old one. But it's gonna take my a while to realise this..

The second pictures are made in a small village in Italy called Levanto. We go there every year con tutti di familia! And the last one, my favorite drink: Aperol Sprizz! Do you know this drink? It's very fresh and so easy to make; 1/3 Aperol, 1/3 Prosecco and 1/3 spa <3

Put my new shoes on

Last night before I went to a party I wore my new Isabel Marant KO shoes. Since they arrived a few days ago I almost wear them every day! So last night I wanted to wear my favorite outfit, it may not look sexy or elegant but sometimes I want to show my tough site (stoer). Many people think I'm this doll - y girl who often wears high heels so these shoes may shock them, let's hope.

Taking these pictures made me quite nervous, people who walked by were starring and probably asking themselves for what reason I'm doing this. But my last post gave me a lot of confidence and it helped so much that my friend Sophie supported me when she told me to not give a damn!

Ps. my left arm looks kind off disabled on these pictures, sorry for that <3

My very first outfit post!

I'm so excited to post my first outfit! But to be honest I'm also kind of nervous.. I wanted to start posting my outfits for a long time but when I checked out all the other blogs I always thought they looked so pretty and professional. I envy them because they have the guts to post their pictures, but today I thought by myself WHAT THE HELL?! I want to post my outfit so I will!

Today the weather in the Netherlands is very sunny, which is very rare! So I put on an outfit which makes me happy: flowers. I wrote in an earlier post that I was looking for jeans with a flower print, and I found one. When I read my magazines like ELLE, Voque and Glamour I always get so much inspiration, but the things I dislike are the prices of most clothes. These magazines contain so many expensive clothes which aren't affordable for students like me! So my challenge is to find items in the same style to create my own outfits.

I'm very interested in your opinion about my first outfit post and I would love it if you want to share this with me <3

Wear what suits you; Strappy Heels

I strongly believe that you should only wear what suits you. Every season there are so many trends in fashion that I just want to buy from every trend several Items! If I had the money I would probably do that but unfortunately not..
I think it is very important to dress yourself only in the items of which you think they look good on you. For example the ankle strap heels. This will be a huge trend this summer and I think they look beautifull on girls who are really tall. But when you aren't that tall, a strap around your ankel really makes you legs look shorter because they are interrupted by a small strap. For this reason I think it will look much better to a nice pair of heels with straps on the foot or toes instead of around the ankle.

But nevertheless, everybody can dress fashionable in my opinion. You just have to wear the items you like on yourself and not the items you like on someone else, don't you agree <3

An asymmetric summer

From the back you look very decent and slightly neat (truttig), but when you turn around your amazing legs can be seen! With these asymmetric items in some way it always looks like you have these long skinny legs even though you don't! This trend is fantastic for a figure like I have because I'm not as tall as a model, but I do love long skirts. These short/long skirts are a great solution for my hight and if I may say; they suit me well.

These skirts and dresses are long in the back and short in the front. First a layer of a fabric like cotton and then a layer of see-through materials. It can be worn with flats, heels, with panties or with jeans. But I prefer the 'less is more' way by wearing nothing underneath but some high heels.

When you want to look elegant but you still want to show some leg at the same time, this trend definitely is something for you. I'm wondering what colour you prefer..

Trending: Dip dye

Let's dip our hair in a bottle of pink paint; yehh!!
Are you familiar with the trends which look awesome on other poeple but you are too scared to try it yourself? This might be one; the Dip Dye trend. It is seen on clothes this summer; the clothes are dark on top and are getting lighter towards the bottom. But this post isn't about clothing, it's about hair. Last year the trend was seen on dark hair with bleached-out blonde ends: ombre hair. But this year it's all about coloured ends. It may look kind off alternative when you paint the ends pink,  but it is worn by real fashionistas like Alexa chung. Is this a trend you'd like to try yourself?
